Maths Sequencing
A great mathematics program responds to our interests, and what piques our interest can change on a daily basis.
That doesn't mean we shouldn't plan ahead though. In mathematics, many ideas are dependent on our understanding of others, so it makes sense to think carefully about the order in which we explore them.
The table below is just one way to organise our learning. It doesn't take into account your school calendar, it doesn't necessarily link, as it should, with your studies in other subjects, and locking ourselves into two-week studies of a concept can be limiting. However, as a place to start, this structure is the one we will use for our investigation ideas on Bamboo Learners. We hope you'll enjoy it.
